Today at eight o’clock in the morning we set sail from Mallorca to the next place, Menorca. On the sail we motor-sailed most of the way, also on the way Harry went fishing of the back of  the boat. When we where half way through the sail Daddy spotted a black dolphin, I thought the dolphin we saw was a common dolphin because of it’s black shiny skin. It took five hours to get to the place we wanted to get to, so on the sail we got to have snacks like toast and biscuits. When we where almost in Menorca I had to reel the fishing line in, it took quite a while to real the squid lure and all the fishing line in. When we where in Menorca we found an anchorage unfortunately we couldn’t stay in the anchorage because there is going to be quite a lot of bad weather coming. So we decided to stay in a marina where it wouldn’t be really rough. When we where in the marina we moored up next to two English boats.

When we had moored up Mummy and Daddy met the English people on the next boat whilst Catrin, Harry and I played a game called pet-shops. As soon as Daddy and Mummy had met the people on next boat and when Catrin, Harry and I had played pet-shops. We first walked to a playground in the middle of the town, we then went to find an Italian restaurant where we could get a take away. We asked one of the men from the boat next door where we could find an Italian restaurant, when we had got to the Italian restaurant that the man from the boat next door had suggested, we ordered a take away. Whilst we where waiting for the take away we had ordered we all had a drink, I had a Fanta orange, Mummy and Daddy had beers and Harry and Catrin both had orange juice. When we had got back to the boat with the take away we laid the table and Harry, Catrin and I then started to eat our pizzas whilst Mummy and Daddy ate their Tapas. When we had eaten our take away I read my new book that Daddy had just brought till nine o’clock. When I had read my book because it was nine o’clock I decided that I should go to bed.

Fact file for Ciudadela –Menorca
The harbour is the most attractive harbour in the narrow Cala.
Ciudadela harbour has been in use since prehistoric times, long before the Phoenicians
settled in and gave the harbour its first name; Yamma meaning Western or west town (1600-1200BC).
After years of a lot of invasions by pirates and other countries the harbour received its current name Ciudadela.
Ciudadela means Little city.
Ciudadela is the capital of Menorca.
In the town the town there is a giant 14th century cathedral.
Also three miles out of Ciudadela there is a very old building that is thought to be the oldest building in the
