Today at 10 o'clock we went to a glass blowing expedition, to see how glass sculptures are made. When we walked in we saw lots of models and posters about glass blowing, I read one poster and found out that glass is made by melting together several minerals at very high temperatures.

After looking at the models and reading the posters we went to see a man actually do some glass blowing the glass started of as one mini blob of melted minerals but after a while of glass blowing man rolling, scrubbing and moulding the glass finally started to take shape at first it was very hard to make out what this model was going to be I though it was going to be a wine bottle as the bottom was being moulded  in a wine bottle shape, after about twenty more minutes of glass man moulding the glass the flower vase was finally completed. We next went into a room full of glass models of all shapes and all sizes, even glass crystal earrings and necklaces! My Favourite model was a dolphin with a Gibraltar five pence moulded inside it, Catrin liked the earrings and Harry liked the funny shaped plate!
