Hi Folks,
Well another Sunday is upon us again, here in Tonga
it is truly a day of rest as nothing is open, so we had a lazy morning , took
Lyn to the Art Ark who were open, its a floating gallery in the middle of the
bay run by an American lady who has lived in Tonga since 1980, very arty , my
sister would be in here seventh heaven, Lyn was busy looking at Ideas for the
future I guess, very good stuff a kind of naive art as Lyn called it
.
Rob and Ruth went on an exped into the dark
incontinent , lots of biting beasts and all that, found some Aussie sea Kayakers
camping in this bug infested island which even the bug juice wouldn't keep them
off , we need some of the "Bushman's stuff" that Gail bought with her , these
little bugger bight you straight through your T shirt .
I collected the arty one and the bush babies
later on in the afternoon , we all came back and went for a swim , and a bit of
hull cleaning , the Navy survey ship HMNZS Resolution came and anchored
alongside us , the liberty boat went in and a few went ashore , and that
was the excitement of Sunday over ,drinks in the cockpit at sun downers,
watched the ensign being lowered on the Resolution, then it was the
roast pork with roast spuds , and a DVD called Madagascar , nearly as good as
jungle book , we all had a good laugh at it ....
