Aidan and Andy and Claire and I are all ready to go (almost), bound for Lagos where Julian will join us, and then to Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
We were meant to be off on Saturday 14th July, but on the Friday we discovered that our electric genoa furler motor had died irreparably. A new one left Germany on Friday, but Monday was a holiday here in France, so we are expecting it today. TNT says it is “out for delivery”, so hopefully we can get it, and mount it, and be off without too much further delay.
