Not long now!
With just 21 days to race start we are getting very excited! This has been three years in the planning and all of a sudden its very real. Last week was hectic, a school assembly Friday morning with 90 school children, a luncheon and speaking at a business club in Sheffield and then on to prepare a “barn” for our leaving do which was held on Saturday straight after attending the Christmas lights switch on in Burn village which will stay on until our return. We now have less than 7 days to finish off at work and home all those little jobs that need doing before we fly out to Tenerife next Monday 30 November for our two week prep. It’s all go go go. This week interview with Radio York and ITV calendar. How do we squeeze so much in will life on the ocean be a lot calmer! We hope so. Anyhow this is going to be our blog site for our journey and we will be updating it as often as we can when we are on the ocean so please bookmark it and come back as this is the real start of our journey.
