After one night at Marigot we set off again for the short hop to Rodney Bay.  9Nm with wind mainly against us so we motored, leaving at 11.00, arriving 12.30 in Rodney Bay Marina, where we plan to stay until 4th April.

On occasions we have had some problems getting our claw anchor to set – stainless steel so it looks pretty but not the most effective and we had already decided to get a new anchor – either Rocna or Manson Supreme, there seems little difference in the designs and we have heard good reports of both.  The chandler here had a 20kg Manson Supreme in stock, so we have taken the plunge, and after a trial fitting, bought that.  Next stop is the anchorage at St Pierre, so we’ll see how it holds.

We’ve also been to S&S and bought some storage boxes in preparation for the big pack up in a month’s time.

The marina here seems very quiet – I would guess about 60% occupancy;  very different to after the ARC.  But it’s good to be in a secure and quiet location so we can catch up on jobs and sleep.

Reminder that True Colours also has a Facebook page;  I post the blogs there, but generally a few more pictures as here I am limited on the amount of data I can send.
