So we had a simple evening, with a heading of 185 degrees, wind speed 14-16 knots and boat speed of 6.4 knots. This morning and we are still doing the same. It was a quiet night, and this morning we saw our first sailing boat on this trip since France. Ironically it was a French catamaran heading for Madeira.

We have 389 miles to go, however how we get there is a completely different question! We are currently unsure whether to stay on until Monday evening, and then gybe for Gran Canaria, or to gybe now, head southwest  and then gybe back early Monday morning. Or somewhere in between the two! It is quite literally trying to cross a square by going round two sides, but which sides to go down, we have no idea! Going east is looking slightly longer than west, but has more breeze than the other. Going to update the grib files soon, take them with a pinch of salt, and guess what the best route is!

That's all folks. The sun is shining and the breeze is blowing!
