Really excellent 32hr crossing. Sicily now 220 miles behind us. Wind and swell on the bum, so surfed an average 7kts the whole way across. No moon, but bright star sky. A comfortable and energy efficient trip. Got the MOB devices programmed and fitted to the life jackets. A jacket will now be worn by the watch keeper at night. Wind completely died as we arrived! A good fresh breeze coming tomorrow, we are advised. We're on an inside pontoon, so blown off if windy, which is excellent as the fenders don't get pounded (berthed side on). Harbor water nice and clean, so jumped over the side to cool off. Wonderful :-)
