Blast. Forgot photos in last post.

Today we left for Columbia. Only got as far as the Marina fuel doc. Broken Raw water (engine cooling), strainer. Crappy cap on the thing snapped off through over tightening - by hand .....! I'd tightened it days ago while fixing the water pump, but only today it decided to take the hidden crack and completely separate. The system is vacuum driven, so ....

Weirdly, we'd gone to check out (40 min walk) and the officer wasn't there, so were unable. The officer was due to come over to us at the marina in an hour. So we'd moved to the fuel dock in the meantime and seen the problem. Not knowing how long the fix would take, when he turned up we canceled the 'out'.

I then rushed to town on the bike and was able to buy a different type of unit. After a couple of back and forths to the boat, within two hours I'd installed brackets and new unit - worked. So, back to customs and finally checked out. However now cream crackered knackered, decided to abort exit till the morning. At least now we've checked out and refueled, so exit tomorrow should be a doddle.

All's well on x86 - I think!
