Nice run, sea pretty flat at the time, with little wind about. What wind there was, was always on the nose, so motoring was ever endured - Shakera and Wet wet wet proving effective distractions from the drone.
Kas is a sterling Marina, immaculatey manacured long long stretches of greenest green grass - Bosun loved it.
We loved 'Smileys' restaurant in town, with it's amazing underground mini cystern. But my favorite was the little Jazz bar in the Marina.
Bought a propper boarding ladder, and while fitting it, moved the existing plank to one side. Then decided the fitting would be easier from the pontoon side, so picked up new ladder and went over on plank - that's the plank i'd precariously balanced out of the way ... as I headed to Davy Jones Locker, I managed to throw the ladder onto the pontoon and then dissapeared beneath the boat. I don't do things like that - I did something exactly like that. This plonker stuff has to stop.
Here came the 'Swiss Contingent' part of the story. Karen had noticed a Swiss couple (Erica and Beat), in Finike (48 foot lovely power boat called 'Allegre'). They showed up in Kas with their rather impressive poodle called 'Hardy'. Nice dinners, together ensued, until the ladies hugged goodbye as we headed our seperate ways - only to hug goodby repeatedly over the next couple fo weeks and 5 new locations. We repeatedly accused them of stalking us, while they just blamed best mates Hardy and Bosun, for calling the shots.
