Bora Bora

As predicted I had a windy sail for the 35 miles to Bora Bora.  I first went to a sheltered , sandy anchorage and chilled out for a few days.  I then moved to the main town of Viatape where there were supermarkets, people, happy hours and other things to do.  First up was a trip around and over the island in a Land Rover.  The Americans built the road around the island during WW2 and put in a few  guns.  These were never fired; until I arrived, that is...  I was actually aiming at the Bristol Pilot cutter on the right of the 'photo; it is owned by a very annoying single hander.
