I am heading off to the Andaman Islands tomorrow morning. It is only 405 nautical miles but it may as well be 4,000 as there is little or no wind forecast.  My motoring range is 400 miles so I will have to paddle for the last five miles.  And so I may be out of touch for a while.

All of the paperwork is ready.  An amazing 102 pages.  And that is just to get in.  Getting out is another exercise!

I have included a picture of mv Titania which was beside me at Yacht Haven.  It is only 239 feet long but cost a whopping US$630,000 a week to charter.  I'll bet it can motor more than 400 miles...
