towards Dholhiyadhoo with a bit of wind
and a slight swell running.
Unfortunately Roja is queasy again.
This does not augur well.
A huge and
hugely expensive resort was due to open here in 2011. But it did not happen and I cannot find out
why. 80% of the work has been done. And all of the expensive stuff finished. But it has just been abandoned. Bookings had actually been taken. A couple of people live here. I presume they are the ones who maintain the
staff Mosque. It is immaculate inside
and out.
All very
sad. It was a beautiful island; it
should have been a thriving resort employing hundreds of Moldavians and now it
is a derelict mess. But a most
interesting place to wander around.
