Tea plantation tour

With some friends I visit a tea garden and end up tasting 29 different teas.  The story as to why it is called the Virgin Tea Garden is interesting - please see photograph.  The machinery in the factory is original and is still used every day.  At 145 years old they knew how to build things to last at the Sirroco Works in Belfast.  Tea bushes themselves are boring but they have interspersed them with some nice flowers.

There is still no wind and none forecast for a while yet anyway.  All of the boats which have left here for the Maldives have motored the whole way – about 400 nautical miles.

I am thinking about going back east…
