Just cruising...

We potter around from one place to another, all nice anchorages and nice ashore.  Except that Rai Lei beach was more touristy than anybody would want. Alex wanted to go because the cruising guide said it was a hub for “educated backpackers”.  Whatever they are.  It was a hub for tatty tourism but we could hire  a longtail there to get up river to Krabi town.  An essential exercise as we were running low on beer.

On the way back we drop of a group of Muslim women who have been to the mosque. Their stilted village is interesting.

Alex is still speaking to me.  On some days at least.  But soon she leaves for a new adventure in Sri Lanka…
