Christmas at Rebak

I have a few runs onto the main island, some sightseeing, some shopping. Cars are hired from Mr. Din who hands over keys, no paperwork. Six pounds a day. Or seven pounds if you go for the luxury model with working speedometer.

The nature of the guests at the resort changes. As Christmas approaches the Muslims disappear and are replaced by younger overseas visitors. At least the Muslims didn't get in your way at the swim up cocktail bar. And they didn't bring screaming children. We have a big barbeque on Christmas eve and on Christmas day go to the resort for a vast and excellent buffet. Although first we have to re-organise the table plan, much to the distress of the staff.

My post is lost in the system again. This time it is important as it contains a few spare parts. As soon as it arrives (if it arrives) I will cruise around some of the 99 islands around Lankawi and then it is off to Thailand...
