I am heading out to the islands tomorrow. First one is Gau, sometimes spelled Ngau. Sevusevu, the ceremony of drinking Kava with the village chief, has to be observed. I have bought my Kava and had it wrapped properly. I have also bought my sulu (Fijian skirt) and have been practicing sitting cross legged without showing my knees - essential etiquette for a Kava ceremony. Never mind showing anything else.
