Well, what a day that was. Mostly good, except for the squalls, until we reached Leixoes. We didn’t make it before dark and there was a massive swell in the approach. Got into the main outer harbour with a hoodie blowing. Then spent the best part of 3 hours trying to find a spot to park for the night with nobody to show us where to go.. Eventually found a spot in the marina by virtue of tying alongside the lifeboat whereupon somebody promptly appeared to tell us we couldn’t park there. It’s after 1 now and the heater is going full blast to dry the gear. Not sure what we’re doing tomorrow yet. Forecast for the next days isn’t good even though the wind is in the right direction. Off to bed…..
