Wednesday 28th May

Berthed in Solenzara, Corsica. Very protected modern marina with the backdrop of a well serviced village and spectacular backdrop of the Corsican mountains. From the sea underway the high peaks still have snow on the ground. "Monte Cinto is the highest mountain in Corsica. It is located in the Haute-Corse dept., between Asco valley at the North and the Golo valley at the South. Monte Cinto reaches an altitude of 2706m, which makes it one of the most prominent peaks in Europe."
