We decided to change the destination to Bae De San Ciprianu instead  of Port Vecchio, firstly it was a bit closer and secondly in gave the opportunity to anchor and swim off back off Westralia in a sheltered Bay.

The winds on the way down commenced at Force 2/3 and then increased to Force 4 giving good motor sailing conditions so we made good progress. Closer to San Ciprianu the winds increased to offshore Force 5/6 and this has been the case since anchoring. Anchorage is on good settled water and no swell due to offshore westerly wind.

PIX of sailing south, rugged Corsican coastline, cloud formation  on land at anchorage and good swimming location.
