Just to say I’m planning to depart Horta tomorrow for home. During my stay here I have replaced my main batteries and fixed all the outstanding problems, the one thing that took longer to fix than expected was the weather which finally looks ok tomorrow for my passage back to Blighty or more specific back to Brixham Marina.

I've stored up with pasta and snacks and treats and to be honest can’t wait to get going. 

It's approximately 1200 miles and I hope to achieve it in 15 to 20 days. Although a short sector it is testing regarding the weather which can be very changeable.

I just can’t wait to sit down to some good old Brixham fish and chips and be back with my family.
