Quick update

The picture below shows a depression crossing the North Atlantic during Sunday/Monday which is typical of the type of weather systems I want to avoid. As it happens the depression shown moves north so would probably not be a threat but it's the word ‘probably’ which I pick up on.

My position is just under the depression to the right shown by a small green label. You can also see in yellow my planned route back to the uk.

I'm currently waiting to see how the Atlantic behaves and settles down after the turmoil of the last couple of weeks but it looks positive for a departure next week and even better if I wait until the week after.

I can finally see some positive weather windows opening up and I cant wait to get sailing home again on this last sector. Its also a relatively short sector only 1200 miles, about half that of the last two sectors - maybe 14 or so days sailing depending upon winds.
