Hello all,

Saturday today, great, I must remember to pop down to B&Q and pick up a few screws. Also, if I have time I can put those daff bulbs into containers for the spring, I don’t think its too late. While I’m out I can nip into Tesco and get a few bits for lunch and some veg for Sunday lunch tomorrow. Also a paper I do like to read the Times on a Saturday afternoon…..what has Trump been up to now, has he visited the queen yet, I so want to see him holding the queens hand…..also I must check on allotment and see how the parsnips are doing, far too early for Christmas shopping its not December…….

…….then I remembered I’m on a boat….and believe me I do sometimes forget, particularly if I’m heavy immersed in a book..

…I woke up sun shinning brightly in a clear blue sky and hey some favourable wind, going south may have paid off. ...Saturday routine is pretty like any other day out here, but I do have that Fray Bento steak and ale pie which I think I will save for my Sunday lunch.

The pic below is a little issue I noticed earlier in week. The main sail has separated from the boom. It was my fault the lazy jack lines weren’t loosened and it ended up supporting the sail and boom which pulled the main sail from its grove in the boom. You might also see a little red line where I have marked the point it starts to separate. It hasn’t got any worse and it doesn’t affect anything as the sail is still held in place at both ends and along a large potion of the boom. I will monitor the situation.

Another pic of my cabin, a place for everything and everything in its place. That's what I do on a Saturday, I have a tidy up I knew there was something different about a Saturday…
