Just a quick update, weather looking good for departure tomorrow. Gijon has been good to me, it took me in when I was in need of some recovery and it has looked after me well. I've stayed longer than I had expected but the winds are turning and I’m now fully rested and the boat re-stocked and I’m feeling good about the next stage.

Today on my last day I finally found the restaurant I had been looking for……one where I need not think or speak to anyone just point….probably just as well I found it on my last day. Tonight I have been invited to dinner with a French couple who got caught in the same storm as me and came here also for some rest, they are then sailing on to Africa for the winter.

Hopefully this time tomorrow you should get an update to the chart..
