Denis and Ken, refuelling

The tidal sill at the entrance to St. Peterport Marina gave us enough depth at 1240 which is when we set off. We had promised to call in at Alderney for the night to meet up with Annabel and Tim’s children who had returned home for half-term. We refuelled in the outer harbour and had an uneventful sail back to Braye Harbour. Were we were once again hosted to a wonderful meal by Annabel and Tim. Earlier in the week they had sorted through their old paper charts with me and allowed me to have many charts on loan, the only proviso was I should stamp them with my yacht stamp and remember them when I used them. Both Annabel and Tim have been so kind and helpful. I will eternally grateful to them for helping me on my way.
