All good aboard The Skylark WD. The wind is blowing well today and if it continues we may just make St Helena before the sun completely disappears. We’ll probably all have a whole night of unbroken sleep after a celebratory drink (already in the fridge) and go ashore tomorrow.

We are scanning the horizon for our first sight of the island, you should be able to see it from seventy miles out, but perhaps today is a little hazy.

We have been running a competition to see who can do the most miles on a watch, currently there are only eight miles separating us all....buying the first round is or prize (no doubt more than one round will be bought and things will equal out). Showers have been had during the passage, so we all eagerly await our first beer.

Miles travelled in the last 24 hours: 127 miles
Miles to St Helena: 60 miles
