Direction Island, Cocos Keeling Arrived
Just as the sun was setting we saw the palm tree clad islands slowly reveal themselves. We were about eight miles out as we spotted them on the horizon. The wind was gusting up to twenty eight knots as we swung to drop the sails. As it was dark we have anchored in the outer lagoon, navigating through the coral heads is a eyeball job, so we will leave that to tomorrow. We are content to be here for a decent night’s sleep. Anchor alarm on, dinner on, cold beer already downed, glass of red ready.

Comms
No phones will work here. We may find wifi when we dinghy to Home Island.

Born Again Thumb Thumbs up
I hope your not eating sausages! At 0300, struggling to get the Ghoster sail hoisted on a bouncy fore deck, I saw the end of my thumb drop over the side. It revealed a beautiful pink new skin version that had formed under the black and shrivelled damaged old one. I’m fixed!
