After a pleasant overnight stop anchored near the large very noisy sealion rookery at Plettenberg VS is off again, headed for the southernmost tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas (named by the Portuguese who came this way in 1487), 150nm to the west.
Cape Agulhas is also reckoned to be the junction between the Indian and South Atlantic oceans, so tomorrow VS will be back in the Atlantic for the first time since 2011.
