I’ve never seen this before – a piano in a rowing boat. This group is called the ‘Verandacoots’, and they were playing light 1920s style American music. The lady on the piano sang beautifully (all the better for having no electrical amplification at all), accompanied by someone who just had to be her sister on a genuine washboard (amazingly versatile) and the man who might have been their father on squeezebox. A great group, much appreciated by the assembled multitudes.
