This is our final view of the beautiful BVIs. We've been here for ages it seems (we arrived on the seventh of March, but returned to Sint Maarten for bits and pieces for three weeks in the middle). we liked them a lot. There are some USVIs as well (purchased from the Danes in 1917 to stop the Germans using them as a submarine base) but we have not had time to visit them this trip - and we don't think they're as nice anyway.
The shot above was taken yesterday morning, and is looking back into Soper's Hole at the west end of Tortola with Little Thatch Island on the right, en route for the Dominican Republic - nearly 300nm anda bit more than 48 hours' sailing away (we hope).
