Venezuela, Ilas los Roques, Sarqui: A lovely anchorage with turtles drifting in the shallows and seabirds nesting in the mangroves, beach braai (barbie) and next morning a circumnavigation by foot around the island .. coral debris banks on the windward side, crashing surf, mini lagoons and a perfect miniature shrine (replica church) made of coral in the middle of nowhere. Huge parrot fish! |
