Did I say the wind generator seized? well if I didn't, it did. Made life a bit interesting with only one solar panel, lots of overcast sky and a 'hungry' bilge pump to feed. Didn't go with an abundance of fuel you see.

Just tidied the ripped sail up a bit but I'll have to get up the mast to untangle some of the torn bits before I can drop it. Had a quick look at the throttle cable. It's attached at both ends (to be confirmed tomorrow morning) so that'll be a new one then.

Also had my 'complimentary free' drink in the marina bar. A small Heineken 'only' cost me £40 or thereabouts, depending on the exchange rates. Lucky I have two litres of pineapple wine left, but as I have toleave the marina tomorrow I can't afford a lie-in. Cyclone season starts and all the berths have been let. Everybody who has not taken a long-term berth is leaving the marina tomorrow. At some point i must fiddle with the outboard, it's a hell of a row from the anchorage to town, but then I can't afford outboard fuel so I suppose the exercise will do me good. Come to that, I can't really afford to go to town anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Right, now for some shuteye. Mind you, on the trip the regime was operate the bilge pump every two hours so I never really got a lot of sleep. Probably be the same tonight, although the imperative to pump out every two hours is not so great of course.
