I hardly dare make any predictions, but here goes.

The 'new' electrician might actually show up on Monday morning. Yes, I have yet another artisan in tow  in my increasingly desperate attempts to leave this blasted place! We might go and buy the necessary engine instruments. He might finish wiring up the two engines in the three days that he says that it will take him and it might only cost F$400 (labour, not parts).

I am confident that yet again Martin will do bugger all and will not produce the missing starter motor and alternator. I haven't yet located a replacement reliable diesel mechanic and boy does that speak volumes for this place.
The police will take no further action.
The Royal Suva Yacht Club will continue to take no action with regard to allowing Martin to operate from their premises.
If I am able to leave the marina/Fiji anytime soon it will be with one working engine. The funds do not stretch to replacement parts.

The bright spot on the horizon is I have just finished uploading three short stories to Amazon. They will be available in a couple of days time. Naturally I'll give full details once they are available, both in ebook and paperback.

Thank God for home-brew wine is all I can say!
