It's a bit rough out here! We've got SE F4/5 winds which is nicely on the beam, but we have a slightly more southerly swell of 8-10ft which needs to back round a bit please and become a pleasant following sea instead of a lumpy, beam on one. The weather forecast shows the winds strengthening a little over the next 5 days which is no problem because they'll also be backing a bit more to the East and so behind us. Hopefully, the sea wil curve round a bit as well.
We've opened the book on our arrival date:
Pete says arrival on the 18th
Helen says arrival on the 20th
Freya says arrival on the 21st
Mr Phillips says 'steady as she goes Chief and arrival late on the 18th'.
We'll see. In the meantime all is well. The fridge has defrosted itself which it periodically does and we're anxiously awaiting it to get the temperature down a bit again. Apart from that all is well; my attempt at a pizza last night met with over-all approval, the topping was good but the pizza base a little underdone. The bread pudding was well received, although Helen decided to watch her figure and not have any until today. I haven't checked but I hope therte's some left for her to sample!
