In Thornham marina still, probably be here until Friday next week. The rigging work has been half done, inner forestay tightened and various 'bits' loc-tighted that hadn't been! Just the outer furling assembly to do but waiting for a couple of missing bolts. The rest of the work has gone OK, I now have spare boat keys that actually unlock the boat and the main door still has to be done: Looks like all that is needed is a bit of the draught excluder trimming and it will run much smoother ~ naturally the door will have to be removed first! Todays project was going to be making up a 'remote' unzipping system for the mainsail bag, but a chance remark about single-line reefing over coffee in the Multi-Hull World office (after buying the bits for the project) led to a phone call to Z spars followed by a bit of measuring followed by an order for bits. Hmn, next weeks project!!!! Plans at the moment include a trip on a new Voyager 10 to play with a parasailor spinnaker (nope, not getting one just curious) a Heavenly Twins rally at Poole harbour over the bank holiday weekend. Sailing hasn't figured much but as Mark at Multi-Hull World has a good idea what has gone wrong on previous boats I'm not too worried.......yet :)
