we're not racing - we're chilled.

Oh dear.  Too much bravado earlier.  Fryd has shot into the distance.  Left us standing!  Perhaps they’ll be kind enough to save us a place at the bar?

Our last day has been a scorcher.  We all retired to the shade of the sails (handy when you’re sailing towards the sun) and chilled on deck to admire the empty horizon for the last time.

It’s a longer day today since we put the clocks back 2 hours.  Supper on deck at 5ish (because we were starving) came to an abrupt halt when David spotted another pod of dolphins who’d come to escort us through the sunset.  Only three little ones this time, but they played in our bow wave for a good 15-20 mins.  Charming!

We’ve spotted another sail on our South horizon, slightly ahead I think.  Not sure who it is yet.  We’re expecting to see a few more as we all converge on the finish, so eyes peeled tonight.  ETA around 3 to 4 a.m. our time, breakfast yours.

Till then…
