Hi all,

On 24 th July we lifted anchor from Pevero bay to head north along the coast to Porto Liscia at 13.40 hrs with 16 t knots of very cool wind. The weather has been strange here this summer in Sardinia. We are told untypical.
The next day the wind decreased and we decided to go ashore to the beautiful beach on the evening to explore.
The bays of Porto Liscia and Porto Puddhu ( Pollo) are split by a small spit or isthmus of sand.
The land is flat and so the sea state is very flat but with high winds across the water. For this reason it is heaven for wind and kite surfers.

The Sardinian beaches rarely have each bars and tavernas like Greece but here in Liscia/ pollo with the surfers there is a collection of lively beach bars/ cafés and a nice beach restaurant.
The scene on the beach is sooo like the Caribbean with a great vibe and atmosphere, tapas etc.

See the photos of the VW camper van complete with DJs, the bar and lovely beach........good fun.

Love to all
T and T x xx
