Departed yesterday afternoon into some pretty heavy seas and high winds over 30kts at times. It was a really hard slog over Lyme Bay and with nasty weather and winds forecast we needed to make sure we weren’t mid channel when force 7s are forecast for later this evening.

We took the disappointing decision to ditch into Brixham last night to get a good nights sleep.

We are now on our way west and will ditch again into Plymouth or Falmouth to ride out tonight’s storm before we have much kinder conditions for heading over towards Brest and rounding into the Bay of Biscay. And we had some dolphins to see us off our of Torbay which is always nice!

Whilst we are in coastal waters you will prob be able to find us easily on Marinetraffic (all one word) app. Search in the app for Tin Man (with British flag).
