Quiet night with constant wind around 19 knot winds on the beam, low swell and cloudy this morning.

I’m expecting bigger wind and gusts later this afternoon.

 

Everything else normal except for..

I tried to turn the generator ON just now and it keeps shutting itself down.  Grrrrrrr...!

We will have to charge the batteries from the engine now.

More importantly we cannot use the watermaker without the generator and this means we can’t use the hot tub as we go along, sorry Bob – oh well.

 

We have loads of water though. I expect the generator will need a new impellor. If it is that then this is the second time one has failed on me. The last time was under 100 generator hours ago sailing to Malta.
