FINALLY... the southerly wind has gone and we are now back in a flat calm and seen warm sunshine again, we have just had our first meal outside on deck for ten days.    Thursday's Child has been pirouetting around her two anchors for 36 hours but we were pleased to have them both down as there were still strong gusts over night.

After 'school' a typical wet Saturday followed; lego everywhere and children in PJ's until after lunch.

The afternoon activity was to take the rubber dinghy to the slip way, turn it upside down and the four of us scrubbed her underside, shockingly it was covered in baby barnacles and seaweed already, from just a week afloat. We are a little dismayed to see TC and the Aries self steering gear has been growing slime these past four days, so no guesses what tomorrow and Monday's activities will be... more scrubbing!

Photo......the secret to the prawn success will be revealed in tomorrow's blog. Any guesses can be sent via e-postcard to sadlertc at gmail.com
