Muros

The Pilot book says "the whole feeling of the coast changes as one enters Ria de Muros, it is warmer and softer with increased shelter and temperature". We are so pleased to be able to agree with this statement and for the first time Harry didn't turn blue after swimming and shiver for an hour! We also remembered to warm our portable shower in the midday sun so could have warm freshwater showers afterwards. Harry and Isabelle have discovered that after having no shower at all, it is a real luxury after a swim to have a 10-second lukewarm freshwater shower from a bag hanging in the rigging!

We were surrounded by snorkellers and scuba divers this morning, not sure what they were doing, but Harry is determined to give scuba diving a go some day.

Busy day on board so didn't make it ashore but hope to do so in the morning.

We have attached a photo of our crystals we made in Roscanvel a month ago :-)

Tried and tested new hammocks, a rare photo is attached of the skipper relaxing...

Enjoying the full moon.
