Alcoutim/Sanlucar

Jojo had to go ashore early today to sort out some Wight Challenge business, so it was over to me to deal with breakfast and school with the children.  After some English lessons we spent time finding out how electric motors work and ended up building a glider with aerodynamic wings.  I am not sure who enjoyed it most!

After lunch we went ashore to finish the admin. Isabelle was horrified to discover that all the ducklings we had seen just over a week ago had been killed by the male Muscovy duck.  Apparently, for some reason it had done the same to the previous hatch of chicks which was very sad.

Tomorrow we plan to head back to Pomarao to the 'Fish Festival' which promises to be interesting and sociable, as quite a lot of other boats in Alcoutim are heading that way too. However, we have been warned it can be very loud and to watch out for all the fireworks, so I plan to be anchoring a safe distance out from the village.
