Alcoutim/Sanlucar, River Guadiana

Today was the most beautiful temperature similar to a hot summer's day in the UK; blissfully warm in the shade with a gentle breeze coming down the river. There has been a constant aerial display from chattering Swallows and we were amused to see some of them going between the hulls of an neighbouring anchored catamaran. How did they know it was safe to go through? And how did they know there would be flies there!?  We were watching one right up close and could see it dip its beak into the water for a quick drink.

If Plan C was to head from the Algarve to the Channel in July, Plan D is in now motion with Thursday's Child leaving in early May in order to head north before the north trade winds kick in. We plan to head to St Malo and spend six weeks exploring the North coast of France and Channel Islands until early July before returning to the IOW. We'd like to take the opportunity to visit the Normandy Beaches where Bol's father Harry landed on D-Day. An exciting and interesting finale to our year.

However, with this in mind, we are sending this message out as we would like an extra pair of hands for the trip:
Do you, or anyone you know, have 2-3 weeks available to do some spring sailing?  We are looking for a seasick-proof safe pair of hands preferably with offshore experience to help us sail back from the Algarve to St Malo at the beginning of May. If you are interested and would like more information, please could you email the boat at sadlertc {CHANGE TO AT} gmail {DOT} com.
