Another lovely warm sunny day so more varnishing, TC is looking very smart these days.
To the beach this evening at low tide for rock pooling and fishing. Harry was very excited about going fishing again having not been off a beach since Lagos in November. However, drama on the second cast as his hook caught sea weed in the surf which brought everything to an abrupt halt.
Greater love hath no father than he who goes back to his boat to get his wetsuit and go in up to his thighs in the surf in search of his son's brand new sparkling Decathlon lure... Harry was suitably humbled by Bol's huge effort, and absolutely delighted at not only the return of his fishing gear, but at the finding of someone else's fishing gear tangled up in the seaweed as well! Definitely worth the effort.
Isabelle was very happy to find more sea cucumbers. I am sure cousins Helen and Anna would have approved of the man-handling of these rather unpleasant looking creatures; and also of the gymnastics :)
Thursday still looking good for heading off to the River Guadiana.
