Beautiful Seville

We left Rota in the dark yesterday and had a smooth hassle-free two hour bus journey right into the centre of Seville. We checked into our "Hotel Simon" with its walled tiles and airy quadrangle, and were relieved and so pleased to find it is really central, two minutes from the Cathedral in one direction and three minutes from the River in the other.

We signed up to two open top tours on buses which we thought the perfect solution for getting bearings around a city with small legs involved. The personal headphones (to keep) were a big hit, and the second trip in the dusk/dark with a Seville sunset and beautifully illuminated streets and parks was a real treat.

Dinner in Horacio's Tapas bar next door was great fun under the gazes of bulls on the wall and a friendly helpful waiter. We are very close to the Seville Bullring which has been a subject that has brought many questions!

Off to the buffet style breakfast then planning a Museum visit and other sights before a 5pm bus back to Rota. We will send photos when back on TC.
