None of us slept very well last night as the 'Lavanter' continued blowing and the surge into the marina was quite disturbing. Despite putting out more lines we were moving around quite a bit (although nothing like as much as many of the other boats). So far our nylon lines seem to be working like big elastic bands which vastly reduces the snatch which is a relief. Several of the other boats snapped lines as they surged backwards and forwards (which sounded like a rifle shot when they parted company).

As a result we had a slow start to the day and then met up with Theresa and Lewis to discuss our planned trip in company to Ceuta later in the week and Harry came to discuss Chess.

Then it was off to Morrisons again this afternoon to finally stock up with six months worth of supplies of the things we cannot get in any of the Spanish or Portuguese supermarkets. We staggered back with our trolley wheels groaning with the weight of the suitcase full of shopping it carried. Once again all the lockers are packed and the waterline has gone into hiding once more.

Tea was enlivened by Leanne and John from a beautiful boat moored further along the pontoon, who came and joined us for scones with jam and cream. They have also sailed down from the UK and are now heading towards Greece and Turkey.
