It is a slow day here in Roscanvel. The kids are revising for a quick spelling test they are about to do and it is sunny and calm outside. Jojo is busy making bread in the galley.

The plan is to head off for a walk later this morning and do some more exploring. Yesterday, we had a rather rainy day so it was another late start, then after breakfast games were the order of the day until the drizzle turned to a downpour. At which point Harry & Isabelle collected water with a large tarp stretched across cockpit. They managed to collected about 20litres before getting cold dispite full oilskins. Cards around the table below were resumed until lunchtime.

Luckily the rain died away as the day progressed and so we went ashore to stretch legs and wear off some energy in the afternoon. Within a few hundred yards of leaving the village blackberries were discovered and Jojo hat was filled ready for a blackberry and apple crumble in the evening. The walk took us across the peninsular to a cove with an old fortification on the top of the cliff. Then back to the boat for supper followed by blow football which left us all feeling dizzy and hyper ventilated.

When everyone had climbed into bed, total silence surrounded us, as the wind had died away to nothing and the boat was completely still. zzzzz
