We finally dragged ourselves away from Alcoutim and were slooshed 20 miles down the Guadiana on the strong spring ebb tide.

We've now anchored just upstream of Vila Real near a huge suspension bridge, 5 miles from the entrance of the Guadiana, to get ourselves seaworthy again, stowing dinghy, tidying up on deck and down below etc. We have about 8 hours sailing tomorrow to Mazagon, so will head off at 8am making the most of the ebb again.

Bol is delighted to have the wind generator creating 2 amps in 9 knots of breeze although the rumble it makes sounds like it is a good gale force wind out there. Together with the solar panels they are bringing in 8~9 amps.

Planning on day-hopping down the coast to Gibraltar fairly quickly in the hope it will be warmer there!
