Marina da Lagos

Tropical thunderstorms through the night, early this morning, this afternoon and this evening, now peace reigns and it is eerily quiet.  We popped out briefly to the beautiful long sandy beach that stretches east from the entrance, approx 2+ miles to Alvor (our next port) but were chased back by a lightning squall.

Thank you to Olivier from Eolaine for sending photos of TC leaving Leixoes; this one was after about five hours of motoring when we finally got into some breeze.

Bol put up a cover between the bimini and the spray hood so we could leave the main hatch open, a good solution otherwise we would have been very cooped up all day with it closed.

A quiet day on board.
