2am visitor's pontoon, Lagos

She's done it. Thursday's Child has brought us safely to Lagos in the Algarve. A beautiful smell of damp peat greeted us as we rounded Cape St Vincent. Bol is looking forward to sitting under a tree...again.

The children were brilliant, dolphins visited, Harry caught a tuna, we saw between 6 & 30 knots and reefed, de reefed, reefed again. Exhausting! But we're here and the seas smoothed out once we got into the lee of the Cape and the wind dropped and we're hoping that the Atlantic swell that's dominated our lives since Bayona will now be a thing of the past.

More details tomorrow
